The halls of the Margaret River Montessori School Campus were alive with creativity, colour and community on Friday as families gathered for the school’s much-loved annual Arts Showcase and Upper Primary Mini Market fundraiser.
The Arts Showcase featured musical performances from Junior, Middle Primary, and Upper Primary students, displaying the skills they’ve developed throughout the term.
Alongside the music, a stunning art exhibition highlighted student talent across all age groups, transforming the space into a vibrant gallery of creativity.
“Our students put so much thought and care into their artworks,” said Michaela Fabrici, the school’s art specialist.
“Seeing the children proudly share what they’ve created with their parents and families – and watching those little moments of connection – was truly something special.”
Following the performances, the action continued with the ever-popular Upper Primary Mini Market.
The market saw students put their entrepreneurial and engineering skills into action, selling handmade products such as surf wax, dream catchers, candles, and other creative goods – all made with heart and purpose.
Funds raised from the market will go towards the Upper Primary camp in Dwellingup later this year.
A sausage sizzle stand kept everyone well-fed as families and friends browsed the student businesses and enjoyed a joyful afternoon of creativity, community, and connection – a true highlight of the school calendar.
