Music filled The River Hotel last Friday night as talented performers took to the stage for the Margaret River Region’s Got Talent finals.
The finalists were selected through the competition’s audition process, held at Margaret River HEART in early June.
Yallingup sixteen-year-old Hannah Hale took first place with a flawless rendition of Puccini’s ‘O mio babbino caro’.
Her performance highlighted both vocal precision and a natural stage presence, earning her the evening’s top prize of $1000, donated by the Margaret River Lions Club.

“I feel so grateful to have won the 2025 MRGT, as it has opened up many opportunities for me, and I met so many amazing artists along the way,” she said.
“I would like to thank the incredible sponsors for their generous donations and all the volunteers who made this event so fantastic! I love performing on stage and helping other young artists see what’s possible if you put your mind to it!”
Her debut single, ‘It’s Love‘, a tribute to her South West roots, streams on Spotify while she works on her first classical album.

Perth vocalist Rholea claimed second place, captivating the audience with her emotionally charged rendition of Radiohead’s ‘Creep‘ performed in the style of Kelly Clarkson.

The emerging teen artist, who began singing at the age of seven, delivered a powerful performance.
“I just want to make people feel something real,” Rholea said.
“That’s the whole point for me.”
Local trio Fair Havens secured third place and the $250 Janet Holmes à Court AC prize with their unique interpretation of ‘Bring Me a Little Water, Sylvie‘.
Marnie Fulton, Jaylene Lindberg, and Andrea Manners blended their vocals with body percussion, creating a soulful and mesmerising musical performance that deeply moved the audience.
When not performing, they mentor young musicians and embody their belief that “music brings a little heaven to earth.”
“This year’s showcase highlighted the incredible musical talent flourishing across Western Australia,” competition organiser, Catherine McDonald said.
“Congratulations to all who auditioned, to the finalists, to our outstanding winners – and to the broader community that continues to support and nurture the next generation of musicians.”
